Why Kritters and Fins is a REGISTERED CORN SNAKE BREEDER?

Since the very beginning of this odyssey, Jason and I have shared a dream...being able to work with local breeders, not supporting puppy mills, kitten factories or any other sort of massive breeding indiscriminate uneducated business.
said that, we were always hearing rumors about self called "Corn snakes breeders" who would sell their babies to unprepared people, telling them that breeding corn snakes could be a new easy hobby/income for them. How? by telling them that by the time their baby snakes were 18 months, they could breed them multiple times...and a never ending pile of nonsense that I do not really even feel like typing.

We always had a passion for these particular snakes....so ...we did what we thought was right. Step in and do the things right. That's how be became Registered Corn Snakes Breeders - We have a rule...we are not breeding indiscriminate - we breed our snakes ONCE a year and we take VERY good care of the babies. We Love our snakes...and we want you to be able to love, appreciate, enjoy and learn lots about yours...

Now that we have our own store, we are offering our own babies for adoption @ Kritters and Fins. The babies go home with their new family ONLY once they have been feeding on their own on a regular basis. ONLY once they have shed with no major problems. ONLY once we determinate the snake is in perfect health condition and...ONLY after the New family have been through a extensive class on "how to take care of my corn snake"-
 Not everyone should have an animal..only those who really take the time to learn how to do the things right for them.
The baby will leave the store with their new family, with a begginers care sheet, and a kit to start that wont lack the essentials for the snake's well being.
The baby will have papers, with our Breeder number, the relevant information about that particular baby, the most important steps to take good care of it, the info about its parents, their het, and so on...depending on the specific case.
There is nothing else we can do but to try to do the things right.

Education, we believe, is the key to avoid the abuse of any animal.
